Animalympics...

... a few of you out there may have seen this movie. Done in 1979, the movie was a parody over the hype of the Olympics at the time, and the cold war posturing that ensued... denying the ability of athletes to compete as was natural against all the best in the world.

The interesting thing was one of the athletes in the story chose his sport over all other vocations. At the end of the chase, all he has was his prize, only to lose out on something far greater.

I wonder if I am not the same. Interesting.
