From an unsing band (and unsung meaning I did not list them last year), Men Without Hats. As most everyone knows, the broke on the scene with the Safety Dance via MTV. The second album had a lot of play on pop and dance charts (and really huge in homeland Canada), but never really made it very far after that... but I digress.
What made this album, Pop Goes the World, much more interesting than the first one was the fun weave it made through the songs. Not as heavy and forceful as, say, Tommy or American Idiot, where one knows that it's a concept/theme throughout everything. It's still effective without saying such. However, it took me getting older to realize such. When I was younger I was too busy dancing int he car with the tunes turned too far up.
Moonbeam...
And the classic, "Pop Goes the World."
Enjoy the light-hearted pop.
