Freeeeak It. I'm not doing anything.

Hey Gang,

Yeah, this has been a while. I have been drinking, smoking, and essentially trying anything that is going to kill me. 45s (the weapons, not the music accoutrement's) still did shit. As of now, Ida Maria still emits raw sax, Juliana, needs a freaking 5 album deal, and by God, I should be an A&R scout. Sadly, GLEE still makes the world think that vocal singers cannot sing without engineering (or, fuck off, autotune), and that bites ass.

So, of course, I am still here. I have not died and arisen for your sins, so you know you are still hosed.. whomever you are. Good freaking luck, you are now highlighted. Bruno Mars, you are up. Go back to sleep the rest of you, it's "The Lazy Song."

Ok, this song was highlighted by the phrase ".. didn't I fuck this up this time.. Didn't I my dear ?..." Mumford and Sons. Great song, good lyrics. Better than I deserve in quoting you.

"Oh. My. God." Ida Maria.
Seriously, is there no song you would never start having sex in the first 4 bars? Angry, sloppy kisses, meddling into fervent, clutches with welty fingernail souvenirs? Damn, that is totally sad. You may as well have gone to school at BYU*. I laugh at your situation, I cry at your history.

*I have "known" a few BYU girls, and they would laugh and challenge this post. They would all lose.

Ok, I wanted to stop here with this song. Sung by a cutie (Juliana Richer Daily) with short hair and a guitar. Death Cab For Cutie's "I Will Follow You Into the Dark." I just purchased her whole album... she needs a record deal.

This is her with Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance..."

Ok, I'm going to stop with a sad, yet beautiful song Glen Campbell's "Rhinestone Cowboy."

Yeah, the song Totally Sucks (the capitalizations are correct, in this case). However, Tony Clifton sag this for me and my friends. I think I may have sang this song on his CD. In any case, Tony is the singer we need in these times. There was nothing better over these last two year... I would be hard-plussed to find even an equivalent.

Cya in a week. GLEE's "Rocky Horror Picture Show" comes out next Friday, I await it with baited breath.

A Cup of Coffee?

I cannot believe that I have never posted a song from the band Garbage. Probably one of the sexiest bands I have heard or seen. Sad.

So, I heard this song on the way back from drinking with an afficionado. He loves the band better than I. Anyway, one of my favorite tunes. "Cup of Coffee" off the Beautilful Garbage album. My favorite from this band. This whole album rocks, but this sone was way too understated.

Thanks for indulging on my friday. Have a fun weekend.
